Safety Policy

  • Our commitment: Safety first during all in-home newborn care/sleep training and portrait sessions. 
  • Setting: Sessions at the family's home or newborn nursery; newborn must be healthy; room temperature comfortable; hands and gear sanitized. 
  • Care and photography: I am the primary caregiver and photographer. Any additional helper is only with my explicit supervision and is within arm's reach of the baby. 
  • Safe sleep and handling: Newborn always placed on a firm, flat surface on the back; no loose bedding or unsafe props; never left unattended. 
  • Lighting and equipment: Use safe lighting; props used only if deemed safe and appropriate. 
  • Emergency readiness: On-site first aid kit; clear emergency plan; know closest pediatric resources.
